Kate McLellan

Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology

Kate is a registered psychologist with a masters degree in counselling psychology. Kate’s focus is on creating a space for clients to feel safe and supported so that they are free to explore the aspects of their lives which may be challenging or holding them back.

Kate’s training was primarily in client-centred, humanistic and psychodynamic therapy. She also has experience working from a CBT and mindfulness perspective and tends to draw on different theoretical frameworks depending on the needs of individual clients. She enjoys working collaboratively with individuals to gain a deeper understanding of the patterns at work in their lives and to look for new and more adaptive ways forward.

Kate has been working in private practice for several years and has experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, family and relationship issues and addiction amoung other issues.

You have a treasure within you that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.
