Louise Tenaglia is a registered Psychologist at Aruna Psychology with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in various private and public settings including schools and clinics.
Louise has experience assisting individuals who have presented with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, perinatal disorders, grief, adjustment difficulties and wellbeing (e.g. self-esteem, self-confidence) concerns. Furthermore, she has worked with young adults who have experienced intimate partner violence.
Louise takes a collaborative approach to therapy, viewing her client as the expert in their life and acting as a supportive guide to help clients towards positive change. She recognises the difficulties involved in discussing one’s concerns and worries, and approaches each conversation with kindness and compassion. Louise adopts strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic and Acceptance Commitment Therapeutic approaches, incorporating Mindfulness and strength based techniques to help the client through their journey.
