Psychologists at Aruna are trained in several evidence-based treatment approaches and will work with you to understand your unique concerns and develop an appropriate treatment plan to support you. Psychologists at Aruna are chosen for their warm, person-centred treatment approach and their focus on client well-being. All clinicians offer face-to-face and telehealth (online) appointments, so that you can access support in a way that works for you.

    Dr Elise Sloan is a senior clinical psychologist and is the co-director of Aruna Psychology.

    Elise is a warm and compassionate therapist who takes a collaborative, non judgemental and empathetic approach to supporting her clients.

  • Dr Shayden Bryce

    SENIOR CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST & DIRECTOR

    Dr Shayden Bryce is a senior clinical neuropsychologist, research Fellow, and co-director of Aruna Psychology. Shayden is a thoughtful and caring clinician who helps to understand client experiences from a neuropsychological perspective.

    Louise Tenaglia is a kind and an attentive clinical psychologist. She considers her clients to be the experts in their life, working collaboratively with them to identify areas of difficulty and move towards positive psychological change and well-being.

    Angie is a warm and caring general psychologist. She has a diverse mix of professional experiences, which include providing individualised psychological treatment and conducting research in private and public settings.

    Andy is a calm and empathetic clinical psychologist. He focuses on creating a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic environment for clients to share and work through their personal difficulties.

    CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

    Rosie is a registered clinical psychologist who seeks to bring warmth, openness, and empathy to her work with clients. She is welcoming of clients from diverse cultures, genders, and sexualities. Rosie works with a range of presentations including anxiety and stress, depression, eating disorders, adjustment and life transitions, illness and grief, interpersonal difficulties, and personality disorders.

    Nicola is a clinical psychologist who has a warm, genuine and non-judgemental approach. Nicola firmly believes that therapy is a collaborative journey and tries to create a space in which people feel heard, valued, respected and safe to express their authentic selves.

    Erin is a general psychologist who utilises an eclectic, warm, and informal approach to encourage self-development and psychosocial well-being. She has experience working with a wide range of therapy goals, and strongly believes in the importance of a collaborative therapeutic alliance with her clients.

    Sophie is a clinical psychologist who has a warm and collaborative client-centred approach. She recognises the importance of clients feeling safe and respected within the therapy relationship.  Sophie believes that building insight into our patterns of relating to ourselves as well as others can be powerful in improving our relationships and wellbeing. Sophie uses a non-judgemental, flexible approach, to assist clients to reflect on themselves, their relationships and lives.

    Our receptionist, Amanda, is a core member of the Aruna Psychology team. She keeps everything moving behind the scenes so that your visit with us is as seamless as possible and our clinical team is supported with their admin.

    THERAPY DOG

    My name is Norbert and I am the youngest member of the Aruna team. I am a Mini Groodle (half Golden Retriever and half Mini Poodle). This means that my coat is naturally soft and is suitable for people with allergies. I am a calm and smart doggo and enjoy swimming, playing tug, and snoozing when I am not at Aruna.
