Dr Rosie Yates

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Rosie is a registered clinical psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She seeks to bring warmth, openness, and empathy to her work with clients. She is welcoming of clients from diverse cultures, genders, and sexualities.

Rosie has worked previously with a range of presentations including anxiety and stress, depression, eating disorders, adjustment and life transitions, illness and grief, interpersonal difficulties, and personality disorders. The focus of her doctoral thesis was perinatal mental health, and she has experience working with mothers of children born preterm.

In therapy, Rosie takes a collaborative and encouraging stance, combining her clients’ insights and own lived experience with techniques drawn from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and mindfulness.
